This might be unexpected, but, want a job?

A short-term one, anyway. Our website is more or less defunct and we want to give it a boot up the digital date. It occurs to us that there may be some shit-hot web designers among our Patreon people, and it would be cool to work with someone who already knows and likes the show.

Meet-up in Brisbane

We couldn't pull together a live show for Brisbane but let's get together after play on Day 4. Yes, that's a Tuesday (NOT MONDAY), which makes it not the night for a rager. On the other hand it also avoids the risk of a rager. In true Brisbane style it's going to have to be at the Pineapple, because it's near the Gabba and it's open late. Not be mention being a Brisbane icon. Let's aim for 7:30pm.

England back it up, Warner backs out

Season 13, Ep 11: This was a fun show, in a huge news week. We got to sit down in the Commercial Club Hotel, even though it was closed, and enjoy our spiritual home in Melbourne one last time before getting back on the road.

We got to talk about England, and another bonkers victory in Pakistan, after careening like a 70s car chase through the second Test in Multan. Many people have said that we were doing the Daily show on the wrong series, and we were. That happened to be the series that we were at, and so it goes. 

Then there was more David Warner, bailing out of his ban appeal after the process went sideways. And there was Cricket Australia abruptly losing a chair of the board and appointing a very predictably bad replacement. 

There was also Kim Garth debuting for Australia after leaving Ireland, there was the gloom around Caribbean cricket, and friend of the show Dan Liebke came by for a chat. You can check out his new book here.
