What a week that was. Getting back to Perth for the first time in years, reconnecting with the other side of the country. Meeting WA listeners, ducking down to Fremantle, finding a top-notch Japanese izakaya eating house - who knew? (Hifuniya on Murray Street if you're wondering). Not to mention one of the best views in world cricket is from the sunken walkway that's about half a metre lower than the surface of Perth stadium. Gives you a new perspective on fast bowling from that height.
We also saw some Windies fight, then went to Adelaide where there was no fight left. Adam had no voice to start the week. Geoff started ok then crashed out with crazy tonsillitis. Bharat stepped in for the Daily seamlessly, while Geoff wrote match reports from bed. Can't stop, etc.

Season 13, Ep 10: Ok, this is a little left-field. We know that this is a cricket show and Dipper played Australian football. But it's also a show where we wander off into tangents of 90s nostalgia, and there is perhaps nobody in the world who embodies that more for both of us. It's also a show with a strong link to the mighty MCG, a place that few athletes having a stronger relationship with than him. So much so that Adam interviewed him at the ground itself. And Geoff would have been there had he not been in bed shivering with fever. When the chance came up for this chat, we couldn't say no.
Even if you haven't made Dipper's acquaintance before, there's a good chance you'll still be drawn in by his stories and impersonations.
Before the interview, Bharat and Adam had a chat about England in Rawalpindi and one of the greatest wins of all.

This is supposed to be weekly, when the forces of evil themselves don't conspire to destroy the entire operation. After about six attempts at this blighted episode, Bharat and Geoff have been into the fiery pit to take back what is ours. We have faced God and walked backwards into hell. We have kicked down its gates and returned intact, with this: Story Time 115.

Geoff and Adam are recording together in Melbourne this week, both hopefully at close to full health, before we head to Brisbane to start the South Africa series. It's nearly Boxing Day already. How did that happen?
Hopefully we can arrange some Brisbane beverages after play one day, keep an eye on the Discord chat page. If you're not on there yet, drop us a message. We're a bit behind on the inbox but will be catching up this week.
