So apparently the pain, loss of hearing, and the bloody ear are due to a sudden severe fungal infection in my left ear. While at the hospital, I was given strong antibiotics directly via vein. I have been given stronger medication to fight the infection and told to rest up.
I will resume work in the capacity that both the meds and the distracting headaches allow me to. In the meantime, I am very sorry for both worrying y'all and the inconvenience this might present. I will do my best to recover and to provide you with more awesome works.
