FFD 76 Pre Beta
Added 2024-10-20 20:04:54 +0000 UTCNot sure why this chapter fought me as much as it did. It really shouldn't have. I think I'm loosing my edge when it comes to making characters interact with one another in this fic and it's driving me mad. I've always had trouble with Rin and large groups of people talking in particular. Fortunately I don't have to do it for much longer, but still it kinda irks me. Makes me feel like I'm missing plot threads that I really shouldn't be at this stage.
But otherwise, it's done, and the last of the calm, talk heavy setup chapters is done.
It's all explosions and chaos and plot twists from here on out.
... That is if I don't do a chapter of TTRT next. Several people have reminded me that It's been a year since I touched that one and I really should get back to it. I WANT FFD DONE, but the hiatus can't be excused either.
Haah. Well. Either way, it's going to be an interesting holiday season. Elections be damned.

Doing a TTRT chapter might oil the gears a bit, if you get stuck. Take time for yourself if you feel like you're about to fuck up or something~

2024-10-22 22:09:31 +0000 UTCI'd say having a finished story in like a year as opposed to not having a finished story in a year would be a good thing. You can be satisfied and have extra time to do other things. Side note, I personally miss the 50k word chapters, even if they take longer to push out. Side note 2, authors note in the pre beta is very nice would love if that was a forever thing not a this chapter only thing.☺
