Viceburg 0.0.15 Changelog

This update focuses on NPC-to-NPC interactions and the development of their relationships. The system is still in its early stages and will continue to evolve. I'll also return to adding new quests in the near future.

• Introduced an all-new NPC interaction system.

• NPCs can now improve or worsen their relationships with one another and even become a couple.

• The actions NPCs take toward each other depend on their relationship level (chatting, kissing, etc.).

• If you attempt a romantic or sexual action with an NPC who already has a boyfriend or girlfriend present in the same location, that partner will get jealous and try to fight you.

• Added a new relationship status: Friendzone. While in this state, no romantic or sexual actions are possible. It can occur when Friendship is very high and Love > 0.

• NPCs can now ask you to become their partner; you're free to accept or decline.

• Added a new player action, Confess Love (New Interaction System). You can try once per day; on success you immediately become a couple.

• The Romantic relationship level will no longer rise above Crush unless you and the NPC are officially a couple.

• If you attempt a romantic or sexual action with an NPC while you already have a partner present, your partner will become jealous. You can try to explain yourself; if you fail, you'll break up.

• Added a new NPC interaction, Insult (New Interaction System). It lowers the relationship level, but if it drops too low the NPC will try to fight you.

• Further refinements to the new interaction system.

• Character optimizations: the minimum number of active NPCs in the game has been doubled.

• Fixed several bugs.

• Numerous minor balance tweaks and improvements to legacy systems.

Some typos and issues still remain; I'll be fixing them shortly. If any bugs related to the new systems appear, a hotfix patch will be released for this version.
