End of the Year

It's been quite the year, and I'm super proud of the animations I've made this year, especially with how much I've delved into traditional frame-by-frame work.

I didn't make as much progress on my various projects as I'd hoped (but what's new, am I right?) Let's see where things stand:

Neon Genital Evangelion - Hikari's Dilemma

This is project is my main focus for the time being. You can check out this little progress tracking sheet I made for a rough idea of where we are. 

I'm about 40% of the way through all the animation. The upcoming shots are a little more challenging than the ones up to now (A lot more dynamic and require a bunch of work to get characters on model). 

I've also casted a voice actress for Asuka. I'm still doing a few tweaks to the actual wording in the script, but once I do I'll be sending that off to her to be recorded. Still on the lookout for a good voice for Hikari.

Voyage for Poon

I've done a little bit of work on this, mostly preparing scenes and shots for animation. Nothing noteworthy though, as Neon Genital has my focus at the moment. Once Neon Genital is completed, I'll be going hard on this project.

Nymphadora/Hermione

I've been waiting to hear back from the artist on this project. I heard from them at the beginning of the year, but nothing since then. Hoping that they are all right.

This project is next in line after Voyage for Poon.

Power of the Emerald

Part of the reason I started Voyage for Poon and Neon Genital was because I really wanted to make Power of the Emerald, and as things stood, progress just wasn't being made. So I figured that things would be a lot easier if I could just... draw the assets myself. And so, practice. 

This project is set for after / in line with Nymphadora.

Nurse Medusa

The artist I was working with has unfortunately lost interest in this project. Though, it's been a while, I'll reach out to him again and see how he's feeling about it. If he's still not interested, I'll start searching around for some other artists to lend me their skills.

Pearl / Stevonnie Animation

I do still intend on finishing this one... it just might take me a while. The art for this project was drawn by my friend RelatedGuy, who passed away in August. He was always ribbing me about how long it was taking me. I'm sure he'd find it hilarious that he died before the project was finished. Once I can work on the project without breaking down emotionally, I'll get back to it. 

What about <insert project here>?

I never cancel projects, just get real... real slow. We'll get to it eventually.
