The Lustful Man Can't Know Peace

He must constantly swallow more and more into himself in order to conceal his inner emptiness. He always needs new s3xual contacts in order to feel some liveliness in his rigidity. He is obsessed with possession as well. He cannot rest; instead, something drives him to always possess more, rather than enjoying what he has and rejoicing in it.
He mistakes the hunger of lust for the fullness of love, and so he starves at a feast of his own making. His pursuit of sensation is a flight from his own inner silence, which he fears above all else. Each new conquest is but a temporary distraction from the hollowness that yawns within him. He is a slave to the next thrill, forever chained to the wheel of his own insatiable appetite.
In his lack of discipline, he becomes an instrument of his impulses, never their master. He seeks to conquer others because he cannot bear to confront the territory of his own soul. This relentless consumption is a perversion of the sacred, turning intimacy into a transaction. He believes he is taking pleasure, but in truth, pleasure is evading his desperate grasp.
True s3xual power is a mystery his frantic mind cannot comprehend. He is a leaky vessel, never able to be filled, only ever in need of more. The peace that comes from self-mastery remains a foreign land to his restless spirit.
