2023. A year in summary.

Hello. How are you? All well?

Well, it's been slow going on the podcast front in 2023. Not got as many episodes out as I'd have liked as I had to write a book and drastically change my life, but all-in-all I'm happy with how it's gone. There's been some great episodes, and now I'm in my own place and settled, I should be able to speed up production in the new year.

Hoping to get to being weekly, and if not, twice a month at least. Would also like to expand the Patreon too, and have been having some ideas about that, but as with anything else, it's time. When I'm not working at my job, I'm being a dad, so it's all a juggle.

So, the theme of 2023, on reflection, is that I am knackered, but have been really enjoying the last couple of months of calm, unpacking, settling in, and getting used to living alone.

My 2024 plans are that I will continue just doing episodes on whatever films I like, with Dan T and I having thoughts about some eps to come - though I do still have a Bond left to do from the last series, but with the guest booked being the busiest man in the world, I'm not sure it will ever happen! I've been asked by a few if I will do another book, and my thoughts right now are that I won't, at least not for a good while.

Oh - and I often get asked if Columpod is still a thing. It is, and I have guests lined up, but as with anything, it's just finding times when we're all free. I love doing it, and watching amazing TV is never a chore!

Oh - and there will be two Christmas specials coming very soon!

Here's to 2024, let's hope it's a good one, without any fear!
