Top 10 Things I Would Like to See in No Time to Die

10. A sense of humour

James Bond has been pinballing between grief and sadness for 3 1/2 films now and it would be nice if he could crack a joke occasionally or raise a titter. 

9. Excitement

Casino Royale kicked off with an exciting foot-chase, then followed it with a rip-roaring airport chase, and nothing has really come close since. We need to get back to basics and have Bond hanging out of aeroplanes, or driving cars at times when there's not only one old man around. 

8. Drop the Past

I am so very sick of hearing about Bond's childhood and dedicating anymore of these films to Bond looking at the man inside. Just be the killer robotic sex-machine that we have loved all these years for a bit. Try it on, see how it fits?  

7. Gadgets

We've been teased with a couple of things here and there, but stop being embarrassed about embracing the silly side of Bond and giving him a castrating lawn-mower, or rocket dildo. It's fun, and will help make the film become beloved, rather than pitied. 

6. Keep M behind the desk

Yes, I think we've seen enough of M running about being part of the film, thank you. From The World is Not Enough onwards, M has been in the films as much as Bond, and it's getting silly now. He/she just needs to hand over the folder, and then watch him having sex. 

5. Use the Vantage

We all bloody love the Vantage from The Living Daylights, please can we have a scene where it pulls out some awesome "optional extras" while engaged in a beautifully shot chase scene. 

4. Naval Uniform

We've never seen Craig as the Commander, and it would be nice to see it before he goes. 

3. Stunt Work

There have been far too many instances of Bond using CG to achieve a tricky stunt of late, and it would be nice if there was a proper skydiving scene, or underwater scuba fight, or clinging onto the top of a flaming, speeding vehicle to send Daniel out on an all-time high. 

2. The Music. 

We've had 4 Craig films now, and the Bond theme has only featured about 4 times. This needs to change if pulses are going to be able to race at any point.  Would also help if we got Goldfrapp to do the theme. 

1. Make it fun. 

Would love Daniel to go out on the high he wants to - and he's mentioned films like From Russia With Love as his template, which would be wonderful. Would love to see him actually play James Bond, and not the Bourne clone that he's essentially played for 3 films now. Let him be as smooth, as cocky, hard and interesting as he was in Casino Royale. Let him bury the past and just get on with the job. Just make it fun. Please?  Then once the dust settles, and he gets to walk away with his head held high, announce the new Bond and continue having fun with it again.
