Would You Fall in Love with Me Again Rough Storyboard Animatic *COMPLETE*

The way she turns away from him when he says she's been waiting for love. The way she remains facing away from him through his confession and requests. And only turns when asking him to take the bed away. And the glimpses of the past! You ng Odysseus and young Penelope! The parallel between happy young Ody becoming angry just before it switches to his older self being just as angry! Both Odys (the same Ody deep down) bristling at the very thought of tearing down the proof of their love for her. And the further mirroring of Ody banging his fist against the bedframe, and Penelope doing the exact same thing on her own response, rising up to his exact level of indignation as she 'berates' him for doubting her own commitment to him throughout all that time. And his anger fizzling out into an overwhelmed response of relief and emotional breakdown as her words finally sink in. Her falling to her knees to cradle his face (JUST AS SHE DID IN THE CHALLENGE WHEN SHE WAS DAYDREAMING OF MEETING HIM AGAIN!), the little thumb motion and the tiny cheek jiggle that makes the tear fall at last. The way she CLINGS to him like he's her last connection to reality (a sharp contrast to the inability for her to hug him in the daydream in The Challenge). The years she spent alone passing by in flashes, her anguished expression as she sings those last two calls of “Waiting” to him... And her kiss that catches Ody briefly by surprise before he gives in and presses back. It's such a tiny facial movement, but it strikes so hard. Telemachus (AND ARGOS, GWENDY I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THE GOODEST, LOYALEST BOY) seeing his mother smiling so truthfully and openly (probably a sight he hasn't seen for several years by now) and choosing to give them time alone to reconnect. And the next OdyPen kiss that turns into so many more little smooches, like neither of them can bear to part for more than a moment. Her hand moving to cradle the back of his head in such a tender gesture, keeping him close as the camera 'turns' around them... Holy shit, that was beautiful. This was SO WORTH the wait. Thank you so much for this wonderful peek at the pure cinema you're cooking.
