Hey all! I've got a double header for ya today: a new Spotify playlist, plus the OST for an indie video game I scored
First up is my newest Spotify playlist. DnD Emotional is an oft-requested category of RPG music. This playlist is filled with moody, somber tracks that can highlight character deaths, romantic moments, tearful goodbyes, etc. I so rarely have these sorts of moments in my own campaigns, but I know there are plenty of folks who prioritize drama far more than I do.
I've added this playlist to my master Spotify Playlist post. Speaking of which: if you haven't checked out my whole range of playlists, definitely consider giving them a listen! While I think the Music d20 tracks on my playlists are quite good, I also would lose my mind if I had to only listen to Will Savino originals. There's lots of cool stuff on these playlists that are worth your attention!
I spent the better part of the last two years working on the soundtrack for a fabulous pixel-art metroidvania called Souldiers. It just released on Thursday and I'm really excited for folks to check it out. Fair warning: this is a challenging souls-like with some really punishing combat. With that disclaimer out of the way, here's a linktree so you can nab the game wherever.
Perhaps more importantly for y'all, the soundtrack is also live on all them streaming services! It's 44 tracks of that retro JRPG goodness. I really channelled my inner Uematsu for this one, something I've been meaning to do for a while. If you dig my music but just wish I'd let my hair down and really go balls to the walls sometimes, this OST is for you!
