Today I've got a rad new adventure for y'all from Kelfecil's Tales and longtime collaborator Venatus Maps.
The Crystal Coliseum is... well, it's what it sounds like! An epic and legendary coliseum in the frozen north where noble gladiators fight for honor. Venatus Maps never disappoints, and I think you're going to love the revamped version of his previous Iymrith's Lair map from 2017. The adventure pits your party against legendary creatures, with awesome token art that you can grab at Venatus's Patreon, and some rad statblocks by good ol' Kelf.
My contribution is "Clarity and Cut," a badass combat track. Thunderous war horns ring out, and ethereal sirens call you to battle. This is great for down and dirty boss battles or high stakes skirmishes. This is loud, so you know my mantra: save this for battles where it really counts. Don't slot this into your "generic combat" folder. Most of this tune has real edgy and scrappy vibes with strange meters, but glimpses of valiant fanfares provide echoes of nobility.
Speaking of THIS TRACK and my bud VENATUS MAPS, "Clarity and Cut" is one of the 16 tracks from my upcoming album Music d20: Strike with album art by (you guessed it!) Venatus Maps.
Music d20: Strike will be out everywhere on January 14th. It'll consist of all of the combat tracks I've done since Vol. 5, plus some of the assorted variants that slot into intense / battle moods. Get stoked!
