Sunday Grab Bag: Track Requests, New Album, and Reminders!
Added 2020-08-30 21:47:57 +0000 UTCHey hey everybody, just a quick grab bag today! First things first: please send in track requests for the September track request poll! To be honest, I'm always a bit surprised by how FEW requests we normally get. This is your chance to get something that's almost akin to a free commission. Anyway, since there's been some confusion in the past, I'd love to limit this to just 2 track requests per person. I think that's a bit neater than a full free-for-all where some folks request 1 and others request 10. You can drop a request in the comments below, in the Discord, in an email, or whatever is easiest for you.
Next up, Music d20: Vol. 3 is releasing on September 18th! It's 23 tracks, and I'm very stoked about it. Obviously, y'all already have the music from it so that makes it a bit less exciting, but it makes for a very convenient way for me to extend my reach to folks who don't want to support this Patreon (fools though they may be). Check out the sweeet album art below. You'll recognize it as Zhillustrator's stunning cover to my Arkus campaign setting primer.

Next up, just a couple reminders of things that y'all should take advantage of!
- The newly formed Listening Club in the Discord has been having a lot of fun discussing new albums every week. So far, we've tackled the soundtracks to Bastion, Howl's Moving Castle, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, as well as albums by Terence Blanchard and Fleetwood Mac. We do a new album every Tuesday, so please join the conversation! If you need access to the Discord, you can gain access by signing up at the Artist Tier or higher.
- If you feel like saving a bit of money, you can now sign up for an annual pledge. You get a big discount on the price, and it means you don't even have to think about updating your credit card details or whatever for a full year.
- I feel like I haven't mentioned it in a while, but I have a dang app called Music d20 Player that was built from the ground-up to help you DJ while you DM. It's great for quickly swapping between moods and settings, and it's extremely customizable, plus I've sort of "pre-programmed" my tracks to work with the player automatically. It's a pretty clever app, so please give it a look.
Okay, that's it from me! Get those track requests in, and let me know if there's anything that you need!
