Looking to the Skies
Added 2020-02-28 00:37:48 +0000 UTCIf my last track was silly, this is very much an about-face. This track is slow and understated... admittedly a rarity in my catalog! It will surprise no one for me to say I was inspired by the Skyrim soundtrack here. There's something really magical about wandering moonlit plains and gazing at the glorious skybox above Whiterun.
Of course, TTRPGs occur mostly in the mind, so we don't get the luxury of HD Tamriel constellation textures. This track will work perfectly for evening rendezvous, calm treks through the wilderness, or even celestial jaunts. In my campaigns, Arkus is the God of Light and Shadow, and I think the plucked strings and twinkling bells reflect that well in this track.
I'm away for the weekend, and I have some video game work to attend to next week, but I've got some more exciting collaborations in the works. You'll be getting some sweet bonus content in March that I'm very excited for you all to see. See you next month!
