Clarification and new poll
Added 2025-06-22 23:29:55 +0000 UTCAs you know, I ended up deleting yesterday's poll because I don’t think I explained myself well, and that would have yielded invalid feedback.
So, here is the promised clarification on Variety vs. Progression.
In a nutshell:
Variety = new locations and characters
Progression = building upon existing content
Yesterday, I used the words ‘sex progression’ and that was misleading, sorry.
The important decision to take is how much effort I dedicate to expanding the game world (red locations on the map), at the partial expense of evolving storylines happening in existing locations.
When I said “Focus on variety at the expense of sex progression”, I actually meant “Deliver more updates like the upcoming Beach, than updates deepening the sex progression storylines for known characters and locations”.
Examples of ‘variety’ would be...:
Gym (after mentioning so many times...)
Club (so many possibilities...)
City Park (dangerous at night).
Cinema (if you know, you know).
Grocery Store (yes, this would be considered new).
College (huge in terms of new characters, storylines, and mechanics).
And some examples of ‘progression’ would be...:
Revamping the restaurant game mechanics.
More customer events and interactions.
Continuing named customers' storylines.
Developing the Boss sub-plot.
Using that laptop at home for something interesting.
Adding Mr. Humper’s bedroom and making him show up more.
Naturally, focusing on progression would lead to a greater number of lewder events than adding new locations, since those require not just technical implementation time, but also a reset in event intensity. After all, it’d be odd for Jenny to suddenly feel like jerking off bums at the park on her very first visit, wouldn’t it?
That said, does this mean that if ‘Progression’ wins, I’ll never consider adding a new location until the main storyline is finished? Or that if ‘Variety’ wins, I won’t move the main storyline forward or develop existing content until every single secondary location has been added?
No, it doesn’t mean that. It just means that, depending on how decisively one option wins, around seven to nine out of every ten updates will lean toward the winning approach.
So, please vote again with these points in mind, and thank you for your time and feedback.
