EP219. Anchoring a dinghy on a rocky shore….

We start this episode by anchoring our dinghy off a rocky island to search for some special wildflowers. We are given a fish, cross paths with Orca Whales, ghost underneath some huge cliffs, and arrive in a secluded anchorage where we tour another wooden boat - a beautiful 1930s Yawl.

Meanwhile, I work through the job-list on board Tally Ho - servicing the heater, mounting a vice in the forepeak, and attempting to fix a water pump.

I like little breaks from the technical stuff, with friends and flowers popping in here and there. What I’m really looking forward to are videos about preparing for the trip to the UK, how you plan to stock fuel, food, water and supplies for the trip. Your strategy for sailing Tally Ho around the world. How the Fastnet race is sailed and won. How you train for that and gather a team … what technical skill needs to be developed, learned, etc… Some history if you have it on the original crew that sailed the race 100 years ago would be awesome. I always appreciate the community and characters that come together around Tally Ho, but feel the strength of this channel has always been the vessel and the mission as the primary stars, and of course Leo’s vision and knowledge and leadership bringing all of that to life, and with the characters playing supporting roles and providing humanity and humor. You have been doing great with that balance and it remains enjoyable to watch for me when that priority order is emphasized.
