Updates about polls and rewards

Hi everyone, Nivaris here. I hope you all are enjoying the rewards this month, there are more coming that are just around the corner.

I wanted to make this post to talk about something serious for a moment.

Right now my work schedule is... busy, really busy. Looking forward to improve, I start my day studying art from 8AM to 9AM. Then I work till midnight with some small breaks to eat and stretch. I have a full day of rest every 2 weeks.

I'm really grateful with all your support and I consider myself privileged for being able to make a living from my art, but I must admit my mind is not in the best state. The last weeks due the workload, lack of rest and inability to have room for my own ideas I have felt stressed, depressed and trapped. Working less is not a possibility, Patreon only covers 50% of what we need to survive every month, so accepting commissions is a must. Also, I'm really happy with how active our Patreon has been lately and I don't want to change that. But I really needed a solution. So after talking with Poppy, Harriet and with some of you on Discord, my conclusion was that making some time to work on my own ideas would help to improve my mental health. Just something I want to draw, not a commission or a Patreon winner.

Our Patreon Auri gave this amazing idea. Instead of making both Art and Animation polls monthly, make an art poll one month, then animation poll next month, then art poll again, and so on. During art poll months I will make an animation I want to make (OC or fanart) and vice versa. The amount of rewards will stay the same.

Obviously this is something temporal, the more our Patreon grows, the less commissions I need to accept every month, and the more rewards we can make. Including more elaborated projects and more chances to participate in fun activities. We have so many plans for the future and even with my stressful lifestyle, I stay positive. I look forward for my art improving, Patreon growing and giving you all more amazing and bigger rewards.
