Another update to show progress on things as I'm trying to do more of now.
I wanted this to be done in a week but boy I've been busy. Even if I hadn't been the 3d stuff was tough lol. So let me explain. I think I last left you guys with saying I wanted to finish the rigging. Which I more or less have. I gotta still put Sadako's hairs and eyes in. But the hair will be lazily done with little issue minus some smoothing and the eyes aren't too difficult since it's just making sure they stay in place. The hard part was the stuff you see above. The mouth(which is ok...) , the legs(which I'm afraid my lack of skill means she can't do the splits) and the fingers. Which again came out ok. Not great, but not bad.
I just wanted to share some of that stuff. I was also creating a new mouth, but seeing as how I don't plan to be overly realistic with it I realized it wouldn't work for this animation anyways so I stopped it till i get back to characters like Lois. So I'm gonna use the old mouth that should be fine.
I had a big problem with my converter problem and the Sadako model. The model I had grabbed had some weird node setup for the materials and even tho I had it create the textures for me to convert, it just wasn't working in the program I was using. The textures were just way off on anything outside of Blender and I thought it was my fault which is why I redid all the UVs and stuff in the first place but no, it was the model. Cause when I tried a different model it worked way better but still not what I'd like. I realized my software was out of date and so I updated Blender and my converter and things are work great! The textures are working now as they should, the model is converting as it should. If things go like this then after 1 more day I can finally start animating. Gonna be transferring textures today hopefully.
