2024-08-08 04:25:17 +0000 UTCAs much as you might think the plot of this movie is dumb: and it is, the Plot of Detective Pikachu 2 (The game which came out AFTER THIS MOVIE), copy and pasted the plot nearly exactly. Right down to the mad scientist putting himself into a legendary Psychic Type, and Pikachu secretly being the main character’s dad. It seems like that plot was always the end goal of this franchise. Somehow
