New angels sketchs and concept arts...

This weekend, for my personal rest (I really needed it), there is no Lightbringer update, but during this time I was able to draw things and do better various characters and extras.

In Lightbringer chapter 2, as you can see, there are several new characters in both timelines, with more or less scenes. These days I have been able to draw and define better the designs of the new angels that will appear from time to time in the Lucifer timeline:

Este fin de semana, por descanso personal (realmente lo necesitaba), no hay actualización de Lightbringer, pero durante este tiempo he podido dibujar cosas de forma tranquila y definir mejor a varios personajes y extras.

En el capítulo 2 de Lightbringer, como habéis podido ver, hay varios personajes nuevos en ambas líneas temporales, con más o menos papel. Estos días he podido dibujar y definir mejor los diseños de los nuevos ángeles que saldrán de vez en cuando en la línea temporal de Lucifer:

Abdiel is a very curious case: he is an angel that appears in Milton's Paradise Lost. In the poem, Abdiel is one of the angels who join Lucifer's rebellion, but the night before the war begins, he repents. Before leaving, he talks to Lucifer, explains his doubts and tries to stop the attack that will begin that morning. As a response, Lucifer and his followers taunt him and laugh as he leaves.
During the war, Abdiel shows up again and is one of the angels who seriously wounds Lucifer.

I loved this concept when I read the poem and wanted to insert Abdiel into the story, but when I looked for more info I saw that there was nothing about Abdiel in the official mythology. In the end, I found out that Isaac Asimov, the sci-fi writer, did a study on Paradise Lost and theorized that Abdiel was actually a self-insert of the author himself, Milton.

Thus, introducing Abdiel in Lightbringer is the best way I have to honor Milton, the author who has written the best version of Lucifer of all time.

Abdiel es un caso muy curioso: es un ángel que aparece en la obra de Milton, Paradise Lost. En el poema, Abdiel es uno de los ángels que se unen a la rebelión de Lucifer, pero que la noche antes de empezar la guerra se arrepiente. Antes de marcharse, habla con Lucifer, le explica sus dudas e intenta parar el ataque que comenzará esa mañana. Como respuesta, Lucifer y sus seguidores se burlan de él y se rien mientras se va.

Durante la guerra, Abdiel aparece y es uno de los ángeles que hiere de gravedad a Lucifer.

Este concepto me encantó cuando leí el poema y quise introducirlo en la historia, pero cuando busqué más información vi que no existía nada sobre Abdiel en las mitología oficiales. Al final, descubrí que Isaac Asimov, el escritor de ciencia ficción, hizo un estudio sobre Paradise Lost y planteó la teoría de que Abdiel era en realidad un self insert del propio autor, Milton.

Así, introducir a Abdiel en Lightbringer es la mejor forma que tengo de honrar a Milton, el autor que ha escrito la mejor versión de Lucifer de todos los tiempos.

For his design, I decided that he had vitiligo, a type of skin that shows depigmentation in several areas.

En su diseño, decidí que tuviese vitiligo, un tipo de piel que muestra despigmentación en varias zonas.

Kesabel and Kasyade have already appeared several times in Lightbringer. We saw Kesabel in chapter 1, when she was having sex with Lucifer and they are interrupted by Raziel, and later she appears again in Morning Star, together with Kasyade, in Lucifer's private chambers. 

Kesabel and Kasyade are two very secondary angels, but somehow I really enjoy drawing them. Their official lore stories are similar: they are both fallen angels who encouraged their companions to maintain relationships with humans. I imagine them as two companions and lovers who meet in Lucifer's rebellion, both seduced by their leader. Both Hedonists, beautiful and selfish.

Both are two beautiful angels, Kasyade with a Greek profile with a straight nose, inspired by the statues of ancient Greece, and for Kesabel I wanted a simple design that would represent the current standards of beauty for a woman.

Kesabel y Kasyade ya han aparecido varias veces en Lightbringer. Vimos a Kesabel en el capítulo 1, cuando estaba teniendo sexo con Lucifer y son interrumpidos por Raziel, y más tarde vuelve a aparecer en Morning Star, junto a Kasyade, en los aposentos privados de Lucifer.

Kesabel y Kasyade son dos ángeles muy secundarios, pero de alguna forma les he cogido... cariño. Sus historias del lore oficial son similares: ambos son ángeles caídos que animaron a sus compañeros a mantener relaciones con humanos. Los imagino como dos compañeros y amantes que se encuentran en la rebellion de Lucifer, ambos seducidos por su lider. Ambos edonistas, bellos y egoístas,
