Comic Update #13 - Cover Art ideas

Ideas I had for the cover art for this first volume. I wanna do somewhere around 7-8 volumes in total

This was the first idea I had but it doesn't really speak to the overall theme of the comic, which is like, friendship, community. Felt way too serious when I came back to it.

So then I drew them closer together, and I liked the idea just not the execution 😂

Here's two scrapped ideas that could've worked but, the 1st one I wasn't too happy with the anatomy and it felt too complicated, and 2nd one I couldn't visualise this finished so didn't take it any further.

Ultimately, I really like them both, however the three of them sitting on a balcony in a flat with the palm tree in the background spoke to all the elements of the comic I wanted it to show (these three are clearly close friends, the setting is important to me, these three are equally as important in to the story)
Also I apologise but I forgot to record the process video, def gotta remember next time 🥺
Next I need to do some other drawings for Tapas (thumbnail, banner, patreon ad) and then I can continue and update yall on my intentions for uploads
