This is another one of those episodes that was so good that I clearly remember it from when I was still at school. Aside from the story, I lapped up as many technical details as I could, such as Federation Heavy Cruisers having Impulse (sub-light) Engines at the rear of the saucer section that you can see firing up at 32:04 in the clip. This allowed the saucer section to be able to move if it ever had to be separated from the rest of the ship, as we saw happen in later films / series.
