Finally finished. Yes, it's her compassion that is her greatest strength, and the thing that neutralizes the situation and change the world into a new direction (now that there are no giant nuclear monsters anymore). I believe this was Miyazaki's first movie before forming Studio Ghibli. Many of his stories will spotlight humanity's relationship with earth, and how we need to be better stewards of it, or how humanity just needs to do better in general. Cause in the end, planet earth the bugs will always survive us.
