I haven't shared the situation with my mother for months, and if you're new, she's in California, 93, and has been in and out of the hospital since late May, and June was wretched with my daughter, son, and mother in the hospital in three different states at the same time for different reasons. I had a pre-planned business trip to San Francisco next week, and mom has taken a turn for the worse. To the point that Dr. Mrs. Malcontent is joining me. What's the big story? It's temporary - for now - but United States Lend-Lease and additional military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine has ended, and Slovakia elected a pro-Russia isolationist prime minister.
