Just finished your reaction. The second hald of the episode was a little better than the first. Stefan repairing his brother's car was a nice touch. I personally am not the biggest fan of the character Kai, but I wouldn't say he is Ryan Reynolds without charisma lol (I think I may be the only female on this planet who doesn't like Ryan Reynolds. He just doesn't do it for me. I would say that he lacks charisma. He is just pretty and that's it. Bland :D ). I think the actor of Kai portrays him really well. He is an absolsutely unlikeable, annoying piece of shit psychopath. And Chris (the actor) definitely delivers. Though I do know quite a lot of people in this fandom who are actually OBSESSED with Kai. I am speaking same level obsession as my obsession with my men Elijah and Klaus. He has quite the following, which I don't personally really get but to each their own.

2023-10-24 16:04:49 +0000 UTC"I'll be honest, after the episode of The Originals I just watched... this episode ain't doing it for me." I feel ya, buddy. Seasons 2-4 of TVD were great, with s3 being my absolute favorite (this is when this show peaked in my opinion), but when the originals left the show TVD never really recovered. It just felt slow and uninspired after that. Though in fairness, I havent watched s7+8 of TVD, so it might get better again, but I seriously doubt it somehow. If we weren't sticking to the watching order, I'd use my Tier solely on TO lol.
