Great reaction!! Monique - is being such a bitch to Davina, I can't stand her lol! I love the friendship between Davina and Josh, Marcel is his father's son for sure, plotting away haha. I think he and Cami are cute together. I do feel bad for Elijah because he's worked hard to get this alliance but it feels like people are undermining him throughout the entire episode, however - in Klaus we trust because I guess maybe Klaus has an instinct about this situation? He is a great strategist, but I also wish he wouldn't meddle and let Elijah have his moment. I look forward to the next reaction!

What a pleasant surprise to wake up to :) This episode was a bit slow, which is one of my major gripes with this season- the pacing. This season has some great episodes but just as many (if not more) filler episodes. And this is definitely one of them. But I still appreciate this show diving into the intricacies of running a city, the politics behind it all. Forming alliances, the intrigues. Like I said in earlier comments, TO is more mature than TVD. While TVD is always going, going, going- just one thing after another, which definitely makes it a bit more enjoyable to watch at times (I call it my guilty pleasure), TO takes its time. Especially in the first season. And it's kind of a double-edged sword because on the one hand it results in a lot of exposition and set up which slows down the pace but on the other hand, once we've got all of that exposition out of the way and everything is in place the pay off is just so worth it. So hang in there, I promise you the pace will pick up soon enough :)
