Agreed. I too prefer Marcel and Bex together. But I don't dislike Marcel and Cami either. There are only a select few couples in TO I actively hate.

2023-07-09 16:36:00 +0000 UTCsame for me. Peak TVD was seasons 2-4 for me (which was the era of the Original Family). I just loved those seasons! Though I think if I had to choose I'd still choose TO seasons 2 and 3 over TVD seasons 2-4. For me seasons 2 and 3 of TO are the peak of the whole TVDU. But then again, I am a bit biased since I strongly prefer the Original Family over The Salavtore brothers. So I am definitely NOT objective.. :D

2023-07-09 15:55:40 +0000 UTCThis episode was so good! Cracked me up seeing you so excited over Klaus's happiness when he returned from Mystic Falls! Season 1 so far is just so good, and yes it's equivalent to peak TVD. Papa Tunde was clearly still angry with Klaus enough to taunt him with killing his son in front of him. What do you think of Cami and Marcel in this episode? Do you think they have good chemistry? I think they seemed like they would make a hot couple lol. Also Thierry - wtf! He saw what happened to Rebekah and didn't even tell anyone!? The nerve. I don't blame her for going off on him as he did. I'm excited for the next reactions but I agree that sticking to the watch order is best :)

I think it's also because TO doesn't have to set up as much as TVD had to in season 1, because we do already know these characters and this universe from TVD, so they get to just go ham from the start

It was just a suggestion, because of the arc :) I'm totally okay with him sticking to the order :) And yes, those last couple of episode are also great! That's why eps 14-16 are (only) "3 of my favorite" and not "my favorite" episodes of season 1. :D It's really hard to pick a favourite because the second half of the first season is really, really strong in general and I can't wait for Clint to see it :)

For ELijah's and Rebekah's sake I really hope he won't get his hands on it. :D :D Ooooh the plot thickens and we are fastly approaching 3 of my favorite episodes of this season. Episodes 14,15 and 16. I know that you are sticking to the watch-guide I sent you. But I personally (Don't know what the others prefer) would reccommend that you watch those 3 episodes together without them getting split up/interrupted by TVD episodes. At the moment, it wouldn't have any impact at all since there are currently no TO and TVD crossovers. Personally, I would think it's cool if, after the next TO episode (13), you then watch TO episodes 14, 15, and 16 in the following week(s), and then take a break from TO and catch up with TVD. Alternatively, after TO episode 13, you could watch the next 3 TVD episodes and take a break from TO, and then watch episodes 14, 15, and 16 of TO. Of course, this is just my personal preference because I think the story arc of these 3 episodes ist just perfect to watch back to back. :)
