Well said! The father/son relationship between Klaus and Marcel is a complicated one, but you can't deny that they care about one another deeply.

Klaus is a tough nut to crack but he for sure loves his family, he as we know doesn't always show it in the way that makes the most sense - or the way his family would like to receive love from him. I love how powerful Klaus is but he still looks up to and respects his eldest brother - he's dare I say at times afraid of Elijah lol. Loved the father son bonding this episode between Klaus and Marcel. Parent-child relationships aren't always the easiest but idk I feel like there is still a deep love there between the two - even when they're bitterly fighting. This was such a great episode! I look forward to the next one!

He was sooo ready to forgive them, but he is also so damn proud. What a beautiful mess he is. Again with all those great quotes: 1) "You don't make it easy to love you, brother." "And yet, you are obstinate in your desire to do so." That sums them up perfectly :D 2) Darling, we have to stop meeting like this. This is how rumours begin...You can go now *charming smile*. Yes, The Originals takes a bit more time to explore a little more and to go into more depths than The Vampire Diaries, though the pace is gonna ramp up significantly soon, that I can promise you :) Alrighty, I'm gonna turn in for the night.
