Should I watch Thirdspace Movie Between 4x8 and 4x9?

Comments

Ah, OK. I was wondering why they were watching it in the middle of Season 5.

Una Vez en una Luna Azul

As long as 3x16 & 3x17 are watched together, everything else is negotiable.

Im struggling for which spoilers are there, but we all have Clints best interest in mind so Ill concede my recommendation in the name of safety..

Dave Sampson

IN THE BEGINNING is for AFTER season 4... There's spoilers for the end of the season...

MrTickleTrunk

No it isn't, In the Beginning has spoilers through S4E21.

Stuart Hepworth

Wait until after S4E09, it has a spoiler for the first scene of S4E09 in it.

Stuart Hepworth

Mild Fuzz TV. Maybe more a podcast than a reactor.

"In the Beginning" is mostly safe to watch (no spoilers) after 4x9. Where it fits in the timeline is hard to say. It was filmed between Seasons 4 and 5, like Thirdspace. Unlike Thirdspace it was actually aired then, too, as a lead in to Season 5. Which is where I like to watch it. Basically my watch order is: -Pilot -Seasons 1-4 -Movies 1-2 (Thirdspace/Beginning) -Season 5 -Movies 3-4 (River of Souls/Call to Arms) -Crusade -Movies 5-6 (Rangers/Lost Tales)

Snatcher42

No, not yet for In the Beginning. He'll still get season 4 spoilers. TNT put that between seasons 4 & 5 and that's a good place for it.

Enskipp

No, but it's time to watch "In the beginning".

Dave Sampson

@Snatcher42 - Which reactor were you referring to?

David Brown

Definitely

Enskipp

I have no preference. I am off work Monday so I have time to watch a ton this weekend, If I can keep away from distractions that is...

Mega Reacts

It actually _aired_ July 19, 1998, which was in a 6 month gap between 5x18 and 5x19. Bizarre, I know, but TNT was playing airdate shenanigans by then, which would come to a head with Crusade. I recently saw a reactor watch it there bcs they stick to a strict air-date order rule. It was definitely odd, don't recommend it. Between Seasons 4 and 5 is when it was filmed, and I feel it works best there. But yes, between 4x8 and 4x9 is where it takes place in the timeline.

Snatcher42

You should watch it before starting season five. To not break up the flow. But you do you

Jacob Shepley

I partied way to hard in my youth...

Mega Reacts

"The Lurker's Guide", THE srouce for all B5 info, says it's between 4x8 & 4x9 on the timeline even though it aired between season 4 and 5. Either way is actually fine but since you have a bad memory "YES" is the only right answer. LOL

MrTickleTrunk

3rd option: it's up to you. Somewhere around there is when it takes place. But it was made between Seasons 4 and 5, and aired in the middle of Season 5. All of those are valid times to see it. Though it feels weird in the middle of Season 5, so that's my least recommended. Personally, I watch it (and In the Beginning) between Seasons 4 and 5, to not interrupt the flow of the Season. But really it's up to you, no right or wrong answer.
