Schedule October 6-10

Hello, hello. Happy Sunday.

We don't start or finish any seasons this week. It's kind of sad. But, minus Prison Break, which I'm kind of hating right now, I'm really enjoying everything else I'm watching, so I don't mind the continuity.

The Fosters and Prison Break are both close to finishing. After this week, we've got 3 episodes of each show left. Shortly after this post goes up, a poll to replace The Fosters will go up. The first episode that replaces The Fosters will go up Wednesday, October 22 (I think I'd originally stated it would be the week before, but I don't math well 😳). Whatever we replace Prison Break with will start Tuesday, October 28th.

My books this week were pretty lackluster as well. Sigh. I read She's Gone, which was 3 stars, and More: A Memoir of an Open Marriage, which was 3.5 stars. I'm about halfway through The Witching Year: A Memoir of Earnest Fumbling Through Modern Witchcraft. And actually, it's pretty fun. Looking forward to finishing it tomorrow.

I've got so many things on hold at the library right now. But I'm so far from getting them (although, I've thought that before, and things occasionally show up much quicker than you expect).

My birthday is this Friday. My mom (who only mostly remembers because it's 10/10- please note, my mom is amazing, she's just retired and never knows what day it is) usually sends me two hundred dollars (now that I've spoken this aloud, she probably won't sent it 🤣). I'm thinking about buying a Kindle and getting one of those Kindle subscriptions (I'm not really sure how it works). Those of you who are Kindle people, do you recommend this? I typically read 2-4 books a week. Is it worth the money?

Dan and I spent halftime during the Jets game (OMG are you guys watching this horrendousness?!- not that we're surprised) deicing the freezer. What a romantic Sunday we've had for ourselves. I'm also trying to make a habit of going for a long walk every Sunday. But, it's still in the mid 80s here (WTF global warming, it's October), so my walk was only about 15 minutes. Grrrr.

I've been using Finch for about a month now. It's so fucking adorable. If you guys are using this app, let's be friends! Drop your friend code if you're using this. If you're not, do it! It's so cute! And actually, pretty useful.

Dan is in California for work October 20-24. We're in NJ in case you didn't know. Is it bad that I'm already planning how ahead I can get while he's away? I'm such an all or nothing/ feast or famine girl. If i work til I drop while he's away, I can basically take the next week off. Right? Right?!?

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, dolls.

Kindle is great. They usually have a special to try KU for free for a few months. You can always download the app on your tablet and try it that way. Definitely beats waiting forever for library books.
