Oh, you guys. I really, really liked this episode. And it wasn't only because Callie and Aaron finally kissed. (Although, I wasn't happy that he was upset that Callie tried to defend him).

So, Stef is busy doing her job, and Lena is busy taking care of the house, Jesus, and the extra work that Drew has sent her home with. Meaning, there is nothing to eat in the house. Brandon, who has been pushing to live in the garage, takes on extra responsibilities (i.e. getting groceries) to prove he's ready. He promptly loses the list and buys a bunch of sweets because they were on sale, and no chicken. (Which I approve of, as I do not enjoy chicken. But, to be fair, I don't really like sweets either).

Callie's trial date is in one week and she uses that to convince Lena to let her spend the weekend in LA with Aaron to keep her mind off of it. Apparently, it's his dad's birthday, so he's going home and could use her as a buffer. And buff she does. But maybe, a little harder than Aaron was expecting. She calls out his parents for deadnaming him, and not accepting that he is a man. She also tells them he's the best man she knows.

And Aaron gets upset at her. He tells her, he's at peace with how his parents are and just wants to deal with it and go home. Okay, fine. But you should have told Callie that. It feels like you brought her for exactly what she did, but then were upset by it. It's fine to feel that way, but give the girl some notice.

But, in the middle of the night, Callie goes down for water and runs into his mom and they have a really lovely conversation. So, in the morning, Callie goes out for coffee and donuts and by the time Aaron comes down, everyone is getting along super well. (Minus dad, he didn't even bother to be there). Callie printed out a picture of Aaron that is current (that she took of him) and gives it to his mom and she immediately puts it on the mantle.

Afterwards, she and Aaron talk and knowing that she and AJ have broken up, THEY FINALLY KISS. You guys. I feel like I have been waiting for this forever. And I love it. But, the kiss wasn't really that great. Hopefully, it's just new and they'll get better at it. 🤞

Elsewhere, Jesus and Emma are about to have sex when she sort of freaks out because she's not sure if it's a good idea with his TBI. He jokes about her wanting a doctor's note, but she's actually serious. So Lena calls the doctor and it turns out sex is okay, as long as Jesus doesn't overly exert himself. Translation: Emma is on top. However, when they try to have sex, Jesus can't get hard. Emma suggests it might be because of his meds.

So later, he heads downstairs to read the side effects of his meds and finds out the impotence is one of them. But back up, HE CAN READ! It took me way to long to realize this in the moment. The next thing he does is hunt for Emma letter since he can read it now. He asks Brandon but he claims he doesn't have it. Of course, Stef finds it while doing laundry and reads it. So, she now knows the truth, but Jesus still doesn't.

Mariana is busy trying to get Gabe to help them with the treehouse, but it turns out, he's moving because he can't get any work here and is living out of his car. Ana tries to talk to Mike about letting his stay in the apartment next door, and Mariana tries to convince moms he should stay in the garage, but nothing is settled yet.

And Jude and Noah overhear the 'principal' talking about turning ABCC into a private school. Was this Drew's plan all along? I feel like it probably was. Loser.
