The Americans 4X2: Pastor Tim
Added 2025-08-15 23:34:27 +0000 UTCOkay. I really need to know. Was this show popular when it was airing? It's so fucking good. But I've never heard anyone talk about it.
If this episode wasn't titled Pastor Tim I would have thought it would be longer before we found out about what Paige did. But, Elizabeth finds out she told him everything. She doesn't really know what to do about it. Especially since she and Philip are planning to kill Pastor Tim the next day. But then, Paige confesses to Elizabeth (who is super pissed) and everything is thrown out of whack.
Philip is trying to offload this deadly bacteria on some pilot so he can bring it Russia, but this guy is freaked the fuck out. He tries to calm him down, but then a security guard gets on the bus and the guy freaks out even more. Philip tries to cover for him, but it doesn't go well and he end up chokcing the security guard to death and just shoving him under a chair.
When the pilot gets off at his stop, Philip sees that he has left the bacteria behind. So Philip has to sneak off the bus (so the driver doesn't see him and connect him to the dead security guard) and take the virus home with him which he, obviously, doesn't want to do.
Over is Russia, Nina has decided to better herself. During the meeting with her 'husband' (I'm not sure what their actually relationship is) she asks him to get a note to the scientist's son. Later she tells him she has found a way to let his son know he's alive. And he's petrified for her safety. She's says it's fine. But, it's not. She gets hauled into the principal's office and the head guy is shocked she would do something like this so close to her getting free. He and I both.
Also, Elizabeth's mom and Oleg's brother both died in this episode. Plus, Philip tells Elizabeth about EST and she offers to go with him after he explains it to her. Look at them. More communication!
