Prison Break 4X14: Just Business
Added 2025-08-12 22:16:54 +0000 UTCOkay, so halfway through this episode I had no idea where they were going to go with this since it felt like we were wrapping up the main storyline, but there is still almost half a season to go. But it turned out, a ton of stuff happened in the second half and now everything is a hot mess. Again.
So Self attacks the warehouse hoping to smoke them out (he's got some kind of gas bullets). But Lincoln manages to stop him while everyone else avoids being asphyxiated (and, of course, one of the bullets has a bug in it, so they've got satellite view of view Michael hid the missing piece. Sucre, however, stows away in Self and Gretchen's vehicle so he can tell Michael where they are hiding out.
They all converge on the hotel they are at. Sucre bribes the desk clerk to first get the room number, and then to have him tell the duo they are here looking for them. When Gretchen steps out in the hallway to check it out, Sucre (dressed as a homeless person) attacks her and the two have a really good fight.
While that's going on, Lincoln starts shooting gas bullets of his own into the hotel room, forcing Self to abandon. Thankfully, Michael has rigged the fire escape, so once he climbs out onto it, it collapses and he thundered to the ground. He's stunned enough that Michael can grab Scylla and take off with it. But, he then collapses from his tumor. The Company scoops him up and sticks them in their van.
Lincoln, who saw this happen, turns himself in to them. They tell him that they have the best doctors in the world (with treatments no one else knows about yet) and if Lincoln helps them get back Scylla, they'll treat Michael.
Elsewhere, T Bag is holding the family hostage. A 'bible salesman' shows up and Pocket Boy is immediately suspicious of him, thinking his Company. He knocks him out and ties him up. Gretchen's sister and kid are petrified. But T Bag is sure he is right. Eventually, he decides to be a better person (this doesn't actually seem disingenuous in the moment- he really loved being 'stand up guy Cole') and tells the sister and kid to flee. He then lets the 'bible salesman go and as soon as he's free, he chokes out T Bag and tells the Company he's got him. The first time Pocket Boy ever did the right thing and he ends up here. I mean, he deserves to be in jail. I don't care how he gets there, it's just ironic that it happens when he finally tries to be a good guy.
Self and Gretchen meet the in between guy. He confirms Scylla is all there and that the buyer is coming with the money. Self then shoot him and his partner dead. Gretchen looks horrified, but he claims they don't need to give 30% over to him when the buyer is already on the way. One of them is gonna end up killing the other before the season is over, but I don't know which one.
And Mahone meets with Felicia to see if there is anyone he can trust in the FBI. She brings the dude who I 100% did not trust. He's also skeptical while they wait for news of Scylla. But, when news comes that Self has it and the Company has Michael, they end up taking him away. I have no idea what's going on there. Are they arresting him? Do they think he's crazy and are taking him to a mental health facility?
As of the end of this episode, I have no idea where Sara or Sucre are. Eek!
