Prison Break 4X12: Selfless

What the fuck. I hate this. How did we all get fooled so badly? I'm thinking that maybe Self was with us until he realized how much money he could get for Scylla? Maybe? But seriously, this was so fucking good. This season is top tier. (At least for me. I just looked it up on Trakt and it does not seem well loved).

Anyway, the general and bunch of his goons come down and step out of the elevator. Lincoln, Sucre, and Mahone already have guns trained on them. They aim back. Lincoln threatens to shoot the general if they don't put them down. That doesn't work, so he threatens to shoot Scylla. That works. Michael takes the last card from the general and inserts it, along with all the other cards (the general is shocked that he's got them all- it's pretty great) and the thing pops open and out comes Scylla. It's just a weird little metal box.

They take Scylla and the general up to his office, where we're waiting for the next step to play out. While we're waiting, the general is offering us anything in the world we could possibly want as long as we let him keep Scylla. But they all tell him the only thing they want is to bring the Company down. He tells them that's not gonna happen. He also asks how they think they are getting Scylla out of the building as it's on lockdown. And then, our leverage comes in.

Sara, who's been stalking Lisa finally sees an opening. She's locks them in the bathroom and holds her at gunpoint telling her to call her dad and let the boys escape. The general is horrified that they would use his daughter as leverage (like he didn't spend the whole fucking show doing the same thing) but let's them leave with Scylla and the armored truck needed to transport it. He tells them that they won't get away with this (oh, and that their father was actually an executioner for the Company).

They take off and a bunch of Company guys are following them. They get out at the airport and wander through it a bit until they get in line at security. Mahone (who's over elsewhere with Sucre) calls the airport and tips them off to something. Michael hands the bag with Scylla over to the Company, who are then called into security for inspection. Michael and Lincoln leave and the Company assholes discover that Scylla isn't in the backpack anymore. They were not thrilled.

So we've got the goods and we meet up with Self at the warehouse and hand over Scylla. He hands them an envelop full of their release papers and tells them a convey will be there in 30 to pick them up. Sara requests an ambulance for Michael, which he agrees to. Things are already sort of fishy, but he leaves and guys and Sara sort of celebrate.

But, the convoy never comes. It's been over an hour and nothing. Michael tries to call him, but the cell phone no longer connects. He opens the envelop with the release papers and they are just blank pages.

Self, for his part, meets up with the FBI assistant girl (who's captured T Bag, Gretchen got away- it was a whole thing over at GATE). Once he realizes that she doesn't know who another buyer for Scylla was, he kills her. Then he and T Bag make eye contact. And I now realize that he and Gretchen DO know who the other buyer is, so I guess he's gonna team up with them pretty soon.

FUCK. What the hell do we do now? I thought the other agent Self was hanging out with was the shady one, but maybe he's cool and he'll help us? There is no way we can do anything to remain free at this point without government help, right?
