True Blood 6X5: Fuck the Pain Away

Okay, so I think this was my favorite episode of the season so far. I'm really enjoying S6 as well. It might be my favorite season so far as well.

Sookie is getting ready to kill Warlow with her fairy light when Bill shows up. He commands Warlow to come with him as his maker. I was so fucking confused here. I could not remember Bill having other 'kids' besides Jessica. Plus, Warlow is like a zillion years old. It made way more sense when we realized that this was Lilith commanding him, not Bill. Anyway, Bill's new plan is to use Warlow's blood for his synthesized food now that Jessica has killed all the fairies (well, she actually only killed 3 of 4, but they both think all 3 are dead, I think).

Tara tells Eric about Pam getting taken to the research/experiment facility and the two of them turn themselves in (I assume to help break her out). Once inside, they split up and Bill is brought to a room with three other vampires who basically have to fight to the death. The one left standing gets to live. No big surprise that Eric is our victor, right?

Pam, meanwhile, is talking to a shrink. He tells her that if he decides she's being truthful, she'll get to feed on a living donor. So she answers a bunch of questions about what it feels like to be a vampire and how she feels about humans. He believes everything she says until she claims she has zero feeling about Eric releasing her.

The governor is pissed at Sara for trying to tell him to kill his daughter (who is now a vampire) and they get into a fight about it. She tries to temp him with some lingerie she's wearing, but he just leaves her standing there. So, she heads over to Jason's and has sex with him instead. Afterwards, Jessica shows up distraught from what she did to the fairies. She's convinced that she's evil. Or maybe Bill is. (The fairy blood made her high, so she's all over the place). Eventually, Sara comes out and confronts her. She and Jessica fight, and somehow Sara is able to revoke the invitation from the house (can you do that with a house that's not yours?). Waiting outside, are vampire police and they take her to the facility as well. Inside, she runs Tara and we find out that the two of them were in that same room Eric was taken to and they all made it out alive.

Sara who apologizes to the governor and tells him she has a surprise for him. She's arranged it so the two vampires who will be fighting to the death (as far as I can tell) will be Eric and Pam. And they both get to watch. My feeling is that Eric will tell Pam to kill him. But, I also feel pretty confident that, somehow, they both get out of this.

Sookie has convinced Lafayette to act as a medium to see if her parents really tried to kill her. (Oh yeah, Warlow claimed that he parents were trying to kill her and he saved her). And it turns out, they did. Warlow told them that he was going to make her a vampire and they were disgusted with this. And dad decided he'd rather kill her and have her be dead than allow her to be a vampire. He then possesses Lafayette and re-enacts the scene from 20 years ago. He tosses her in the trunk, drags her to the river, and tries to drown her. We don't get a conclusion on this either, but I think Sookie is gonna make it out alive.
