Okay, so, I think I was pretty close on this one. Yes, I again accused a ton of people, but I was right about people trying to use the mansion to scare that dude to death, so I think I should get points for that Lol.
We've got a dead guy who's been thrown out the window of a mansion that he's recently purchased. After meeting with his widow, we find out that he's had beef with this lady in town whose family used to own the house and she's pissed that he's planning to renovate it.
After checking out the house, Jane has decided it's ghosts (well sort of). Lisbon refuses to entertain this idea. So when Cho goes to talk to the hippie dippie lady (and her nephew), Jane calls him and has him ask her ghost related questions. And Cho doing is so monotonously cracked me up. Cho is the best straight man. Anyway, we find out that there might be treasure hidden in the house.
Grace and Rigsby head back to the house and hear some noises from upstairs. They go up to investigate and spooky stuff starts happening. Turns out, it's Jane. The house is rigged to make it look like it's haunted (the old guy who used to live there did seances and used the visual effects to trick people. Jane notices that the controls have recently been cleaned from dest, so they've been used recently.
This makes him think that there might be a secret passage into the house. He sends Grace and Rigsby down a staircase, while he goes outside to see where it leads. For whatever reason, the two of them being in this dark, enclosed space, makes Rigsby decide now is the time to tell Grace he loves her. But just as they are about to kiss, Jane pulls open the door to the outside. We've found the passage.
Then we gather all the suspects to the house to follow this riddle chase to find the treasure. Lisbon is so not having that. And after Jane reads out a couple of clues, she kicks everyone out and tells Jane to 'bite her.' This is another classic Jane and Lisbon mess around. (I cannot tell you how much I hope this goes on for the rest of the show). Now that the suspects have more information, all we need to do is watch the house and see who comes back.
Rigsby and Grace are doing stake out in the car. They are so busy being awkward around each other that they miss the person climbing into the secret passage. (Grace decides that maybe now is not the best time for them). The person heads up and tosses a chair through a glass partition (mirror?) expecting to find the treasure on the other side. But, all he finds is Jane and Lisbon waiting for him.
Turns out, it's the nephew who thinks he's entitled to the house just for being alive and was pissed when someone spent their hard earned money to buy it. This dude is such a jack ass. I'm glad it was him. He deserves to be arrested.
Back at the office, Rigsby and Grace are still uncomfortable around each other. But then, Grace pulls him into an empty office and they make out for a bit. She tells him when she leaves, to follow her to her car 5 minutes later. So, I guess this is going to be a thing now. Hey, as long as they are happy.
