Okay, so, I was so so utterly confused about who this navy kid could possibly be the one we're after. It took me almost the whole episode to realize we're using him to get to the guy we actually need. I wish my brain was smarter.
Claudia shows up and tells Elizabeth and Philip that she wants them to help her figure out who killed the agents. She then gives them some jobs. Philip is trying to recruit some scientist (I think) and Elizabeth is tasked with getting info on this guy that she thinks is the best suspect for the murders.
Elizabeth hooks up with the baby navy sailor. But, as soon as they start, she starts to freak out, apologizes and runs away. At the time, I truly could not tell if that was part of her act, or if she was really imploding from everything that is going on in her life right now. However, it was all an act. She called the dude the next day and they meet at a diner.
She tells him that she freaked out because the last time she was in a motel room with a military guy, she ended up getting raped by him and she freaked out. He's immediately understand and asks who it was. When she tells him, he asks her if she went to the police. She says she did, but the navy covered it up. He suggests getting his files for her which might prove where he was the night. Elizabeth agrees.
The next day, she meets him in his car ready to get the info, but he doesn't have it. He chickened out. He says he's so stressed and tense, he can't handle it. Elizabeth offers to help him relax, and (as far as I can tell) jerks him off in the car. I assume he'll be more willing to help after this.
I think, at the end of the episode, they were trying to abduct the professor. Once he drops some girl off at home, Philip jumps out chloroforms him (I think) and he and Elizabeth stick him in the trunk of the car. But, they are then attacked by two people. I have no idea who they are. They manage to take one out, but the other steals the car, taking the professor with them.
Stan tells Philip about his affair with Nina (well not that it's with Nina, but that he's having an affair.
And speaking of affairs, Philip has pissed Martha off something fierce. They get into a huge fight (with him complaining about pretty everything) and then storming off. Martha then gets drunk and calls him a zillion times. She's decided to apply for this job and one of the things she needs to list is her spouse's name. And she refuses to perjure herself so unless he calls back, she's going to put him down and the cat will be out of the bag. I totally forgot that no one knew they were married.
Plus, Paige is going to a church youth group and her parents are pissed about it. Of all the things your teenage daughter could be getting up to, church youth group should be so low on your list of things to worry about.
