Well, I will start out by saying, I was very disappointed. We are so close to the end and this is not the episode I wanted. We should be wrapping things up at this point, not starting new plot points. There wasn't really anything wrong with the episode. It's just not what I wanted to see.
Okay, so it's 2040 and all has been quiet and calm in Star City for a good while. Most people don't know what happened 20 years ago, but they do know that Oliver Queen died saving the city. Laurel shows up and tracks down Dinah telling her we have to save some girl or Star City is gonna revert to it's former self. It takes some convincing, but eventually, Dinah agrees to one last ride.
Apparently, they need Mia for this and we find out that she's just graduated college, is a socialite, and has just gotten engaged to JJ. She wants nothing to do with any of this, but then Laurel uses some Cisco tech and is able to make Mia remember what happened. At first she's pissed, but again, she eventually comes around.
Long story short (mostly because I don't even wanna talk about it anymore), they track her friend down and save her from her ex who turned out to be Deathstroke. He claims we can't stop 'her' and then blows up a building.
Laurel and Dinah decide they are gonna restart the canary network and will work out of Dinah's apartment. Mia decides she'll live a double life and come back and be the Green Arrow.
Then, at the end, William and Mia get hit with tranqs and someone kidnaps William while Mia passes out. We cannot be adding in all these new storylines with one episode to go. What are we doing here? I hate it.
