I'm actually surprised by how little I was confused. I thought it was going to take several episode before I stopped forgetting things, but I felt pretty good about this one. It didn't hurt that it was a really great episode of TV.
So, we've got Elizabeth growing more and more paranoid, which was really fun to watch. It seems so genuine. (I mean, how could it not be. Especially when her husband is out dressed as the same thing the workers on the street are, and she knows what he's up to). Anyway, she's home with the kids when she gets a call from another agent who is in trouble.
She decides to drop the kids off at the movies and heads down a pretty bad street to find her. When she gets there, the two of them do this awkward code word dance to make sure that they are both KGB. The other girl was clearly new and upset and Elizabeth walked her through it. It was actually a really nice moment. She was very mothering towards her and gave her some tips for the future. (She thought she killed the guy she was spying on).
Meanwhile, Philip is tasked with checking out the guy who he did the transfer with to see if it's possible he's involved with the deaths of the other agents and their daughter. He's broken into the house and is rummaging around when the guy comes home. Unfortunately, Philip manages to electrocute himself and wakes up tied up. He convinces the guy that they are both working for the same side. We also find out that the info given in the package is super time sensitive and must be moved on soon.
Elsewhere, Nina is busy feeding info to Stan and a walk in (I'm the most confused about what's happening in this bit) to the embassy. Some guy shows up and wants to sell (I think) some information. The FBI works out who he is and starts observing him. And the Russians seem to be ready to use him. The give him a code name for whatever he is doing. It seems like both sides are very interested in him. Although, I'm not sure what he knows.
Also, I'm not 100% sure what Nina is doing. Stan thinks she's working for him, but she's got her own Russian agenda as well. Is it just that she's a double agent? Am I way overthinking this? (Don't tell me unless it's super obvious and I'm an idiot. Lol.)
