Ugh. I'm so annoyed. I was so sure that we were finally, finally, FINALLY going to get a George and Lemon break up (or at least the anticipation of one) this episode. But they left it so ambiguous!

So, Zoe decides she's gonna be mean and bitchy to her dad. But, when he shows up he seems genuinely pleased to see her. And he makes her his surgery assistant, which of course, she can't turn down. (Plus it took me until now to realize he's Lumbergh. I love Office Space. I'm an idiot).

However, afterwards, he tells her it would be cool if they were friends and colleagues. It's obvious that Zoe is not interested in that (she wants her dad back) but she goes with it because it's better than nothing.

BB and George get into yet another fight about Zoe. But this time, George really lays it on thick claiming it's her fault his dad had this episode (you know, because she convinced him that his dad was out to get him). Later, Lemon decides the best course of action is to become Zoe's friend and lure her into a false sense of security (I think).

In order to do this, she decides they should have Zoe and her dad over for dinner. She begs George to invite her (since she's never agree to an offer from BB). And after making her promise it's not a trick, he agrees to ask her.

It's super uncomfortable but they show up for dinner. Lemon begs Brick to go along with her trying to win over Zoe. But, he gets called away to delivery some babies. Zoe's dad immediately clocks that she's in love with George and tries to get her out of the situation so she doesn't get hurt, but Zoe blows up at him since he's not her dad.

Before she leaves, she tells BB that she doesn't need to do all this. She knows that she knows about her and Lavon. She's not going to say anything. And BB is all like, 'Why would you do that for me?' and Zoe is like, 'I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing it for Lavon. My BFF, bitch.'

When Zoe gets back home, her dad is there, and he gives a really lovely, super sincere (at least in my opinion) apology. And Zoe forgives him. They basically plan to figure out how to be father and daughter when they aren't actually.

At the end of the night, BB tries to convince George to come for a drink with her, but he says he has to go back to the hospital, so they part ways. However, George changes his mind and heads over to the Rammer Jammer. As Lemon approaches, a drunk Lavon runs into her. He tells her she was right; he did tell Zoe is she might tell George and then they (L&L) could end up together.

And he kisses her. Which George happens to get there just in time to see. However, a car's headlight also kind of blind him so he doesn't really know what he saw. When the headlights are gone, so are both Lemon and Levon. Fuck! I 100% thought this was going to be the catalyst for breaking them up. I cheered embarrassingly loudly.

It's still gotta happen, right? I'm still banking on an end of the season cliffhanger for it.
