I'm really enjoying S6 so far. I'm more than a little surprised.
So Eric kidnaps the governor's daughter. He has plans to kill her, but she proves she can be useful, and tells Eric about the experiments the government is doing with the vampires. They aren't just rounding them up and killing them, or jailing them. Nope. They are at some sort of research facility where they are being experimented on.
Bill, desperate to save Jessica (and the other vampires) heads over to Sookie's. His plan is to take some of Sookie's blood and use the scientist (that Jessica is busy seducing) that invented TruBlood in the first place to make a new for of synthetic blood. Sookie refuses, though. And will Bill tells her he will take it by force if she says no, he doesn't and leaves. I assume when Sookie realizes just how bad things are going to get, she'll give blood willingly. I get her wanting to say no, but literally, the lives of like every vampire alive are at stake right now.
After having that dream like scenario with Lilith, Bill is convinced that he's immortal and can hang out in the sun. Jessica begs him to stop, but he's certain the sun will not hurt him. Wrong. As soon as the sun comes up, he bursts into flames. He manages to get back to the house where Jessica puts him out with a blanket, but it was closer. He's very confused, as he was certain that was going to work.
Grandpa heads over to the fairy club to find out that most (if not all) the fairies who were there are dead. He knows that it was Warlow because of some weird glittery blood that was left behind. On his journey though, he runs into Ben and brings him back with him. Ben is super excited to be in the presence of fairy royalty. I still cannot decide if I should be suspicious of Ben or not. I'm thinking not? Maybe? He and Sookie found out that they can tell when the other is poking around in their head, so maybe his vibe will end up being something to do with that?
Sam manages to rescue Emma when those Supernatural Rights people show up and cause a scene. He uses the distraction to grab her and run. However, on the way out, he realizes the girl has been bitten (and I think her boyfriend is dead- but he was super mouthy to angry werewolves, so I don't know what he thought was gonna happen) and as much as he doesn't have the time, they do stop to try to help her.
Oh, and Sarah is back to help torture Steve Newlin. That was actually a pretty fun throwback. I didn't think we'd ever see her again.
