This Thursday the 28th at 7pm EST, I'll be speaking–live!– to my longterm book agent Anna Sproul-Latimer, who founded her own agency, Neon Literary (https://neonliterary.com/).
For those of you who have ever-even-maybe-sort-of-slightly considered publishing a book through a traditional publisher, you'll know having an agent is a central part of the process for better or worse– something we'll discuss! (Spoiler: for me it's for the better, but getting an agent can feel almost impossible.) We'll talk about my career and all the gossip on my newest book deal, but we'll also answer your questions about the wider publishing industry.
Again, nothing is being sold here, this is just a conversation I thought you would enjoy. (I don't know why I feel the need to emphasize this. I can just imagine a world where you join the event and it's a hard push to join some kind of self-publishing MLM. #girlbossgirlbooks)

I enjoy watching you engage in conversation with the Community, along with produced content, as it allows me to be that spider on the wall that watches Caitlin be Caitlin. You bring so much personality to a difficult subject and I’m sure you would be an asset to whatever field of endeavor you chose to pursue. So yes, more live discussions please. A real enjoyment.
