Well folks, she made a video.
What this video IS:
1- A topic I'm completely fascinated by– why morgue managers at prestigious medical schools seem to think they can get away with SELLING body parts from lovingly donated bodies like it's a freakin' side hustle.
2- A video that was a joy to make! Even though I had to be propped up with my ridiculous broken ankle to film (see below) it was wonderful to work with Louise on the script and Andy on the editing– just like old times!
3- An offering to both you all and to the sabbatical gods– something I didn't HAVE to make, but WANTED to make.

What this video ISN'T:
1- A mic drop return to the grind of video making. I made *this* video because I was so interested in the topic, but this isn't a grand re-launch. I know this video is somewhat smaller in scale, and I'm ok with that for now.
2- An example of what future videos will look like. I love how this guy turned out, but I've also been playing around with ideas for simple, sit down podcast filming as well as huge (huge!) documentary ideas. Where she goes next, no one knows. Keep you on your toes!*
*Since I, for the minute, can do nothing on my toes except pick up marbles with them in physical therapy.
Speaking of, do you want to see my scar? It's doing SO well, both my surgeon and PT have complimented my healing which I'll take because I take what I can get these days. It looked GNARLY when it came out of the cast (those who know, know) but after lots of gentle scrubs and a ton of Vitamin A and E directly rubbed on the wound, look at her now!

Isn't she beautiful? Once again, don't you dare upload this to Wikifeet!
I hope you enjoy the video, and let me know what's been inspiring you recently (I hope it's not also stolen body parts. Although whatever it can be stolen body parts.)
Don't sell stolen body parts, Patreon! (This will make sense when you get to the end of the video.)
xx

ps- Are you not sick and tired of me talking about sabbatical, yet? Well, do I have a treat for you! I talked to my dear friend Conner Habib on his podcast about content creation and taking time away to save your creativity. That sounds a little airy-fairy, but we really went deep. A gentle audio offering for your weekend.
