What Delightful Jumble of Bones is in Yeats' Grave? (PATRON-ONLY VIDEO)

Greetings Deathlings,

I hope December is being kind to you. Among other things, I've been lurking around furniture stores looking for lovely, one-of-a-kind pieces that say, "Good tidings Caitlin, I am both comfortable and aesthetically remarkable AND I come at a fair and reasonable price!"

Or...I just ya know...buy a chair that excels at being sittable.

Sittables aside, there's been a lot of exciting things going on at Death Video HQ. For starters, I just got off a 3-hour long meeting with Louise and Lauren about upcoming videos. We've got some fun and pleasing plans for January videos and our February video is one we've been excited about for a while. Lots of things cooking in the ol' Death Video kitchen, hope you bring your appetite. Yum.

Outside of videos, you may be wondering, "Does Caitlin just have long meetings and look at furniture all day?" I mean, some days, yes, it feels like it. But what's been keeping my brain going for the past month has been this New York Times Guest Essay I wrote on human composting and the state of New York. I hope you'll give it a read and if you are a New York resident who wants the choice of human composting for you and your loved ones, that you'll write to Governor Hochul and tell her so. Let's get this bill signed into law!

So go forth and help make change! Enjoy your couch! And I hope you enjoy this video. I loved being in Ireland, I miss being in Ireland, and this is a little piece of Ireland that I got to bring back to you.

Thank you for being here deathlings and happy holidays!

Comments

If I had a nickel for every time a British writer needed to have their remains transported internationally but something went wrong along the way leading to the possibility their remains are not in their official gravesites, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice.
