Hart of Dixie 1X15: Snowflakes & Soulmates

Okay, so just a heads up, my internet went out with about 90 seconds left in the episode. So annoying. And it was out for about 4 hours. I've lived her about 5 years. In the first four years, my internet went out once. It's been out half a dozen times this year already. Hopefully the disruption is minimal for you. Sigh.

It's snowing in BlueBell! Which makes Zoe pleased, but no one else is happy. Apparently snow means back things in BlueBell.

First Didi starts freaking out because Lavon's parents are coming to visit and she's worried they won't like her. However, when they get here, they seem to like her just fine, but they inform Lavon that they are splitting up. After 40 years together. Did has the idea to try to get them to remember why they love each other and they set up a little evening with a slide show of their love and music. But, the projector catches on fire, and his dad finally tells him they are not getting back together because his mother loves someone else.

Turns out, she's back in touch with her old high school boyfriend via FaceBook. And she's determined that he is the love of her life. Things have gotten stale with her husband and he doesn't treat her like she's special anymore. Eventually, Wade sets them up in Zoe's room for a night of romance and it works. They decide to stay together.

However, during all of this Lavon is freaking out about true love. First he claims there is true love and you shouldn't give up on it. Then he thinks it's all bullshit and you should just work with what you have. When his mom calls him out on not believing in true love, he realizes that not true, but also that he's not with his. He breaks up with Didi, since he's still hung up on Lemon.

And, speaking of Lemon, and she George have decided to elope the following day. But, they end up breaking down in the snow on the way to South Carolina. Lavon happens upon them and gives them a jump. He tries to act happy for Lemon when he's told what's going on, but it's obvious he's hurting.

Meanwhile, Brick gets hit in the head with a snowboard and gets a concussion. He's wandering around having no idea what's going on. But then, he's invited to the wedding and Zoe won't let him drive. So she ends up driving him to South Carolina herself. But, when they get there, George decides they should have a big wedding after all and this was all a giant waste of time for everyone.

Poor Zoe. It's her dad's birthday and she sent him a gift. She was expecting a call back from him, but she never got one, so she called him. Turns out he moved and changed his number and didn't even bother to tell her. I'm so sad for her.

However, she got the cookies sent back to her, so she heads over to share with with Lavon. And she's able to tell him that George and BB didn't elope. But, they are still getting married.

I'm so curious about how this is going to turn out. I feel fairly confident that Lavon and BB are going to end up together, but I'm curious how it's going to play itself out. Jury's still out on what happens with Zoe. But, it's still early days.
