Prison Break 3X11: Under and Out

Ugh. I was so annoyed at the end of this episode. They have 30 seconds from the time the lights go out until the back up generators come one. Michael wasted like 7 or 8 of those by waiting until the lights went out to give instructions. Time is of the essence people. We don't have a nanosecond to spare!

Okay, so we're still busy digging on the tunnel. But, as we're getting closer to finishing, we sort of start to spring some leaks. Michael rushes upstairs and they realize it's pouring and that the ground above where they're digging is starting to collapse. They are out of time, and they have to go tonight, or risk getting caught.

We've been saying forever that we can't go at night as it's more dangerous. They keep more guards on and have roving Jeep patrols. But Lincoln promises he'll take care of the guard situation, and Sucre ends up disabling the Jeeps so they won't be an issue either. However, when he tries to leave, they call him into the office and tell him they just found out the ID he's been using is actually of a wanted criminal. So, he may have helped Michael and Co escape, but now he's potentially on the hook himself.

Meanwhile, Susan found the bomb in her car and ends up taking Sophia hostage. She calls Lincoln over too and has him call Michael to get a message to Whistler. They are going to kill Sophia if he doesn't get his shit together. Then, they make him listen when she's tortured for a little bit. I'm not sure what they did to her. Burned her? Branded her? Something like that, but it seemed painful.

And if that wasn't enough, Susan shows up at the jail and hands them a stopwatch with 24 hours on it, telling them if she doesn't have Whistlers coordinations by that time, she'll kill Sophia. By this point, Whistler has the coordinates and gives her half, claiming she'll get the other half when they are all safely out of Sona.

At the last minute, Michael decides to bring soccer boy with him. When he gets him downstairs, Lechero says he can't come, Michael says he's coming. Then, Lechero pulls a knife on Whistler and tells Michael that he, Pocket Boy and Bellick are going up first, leaving Michael, Mahone, and soccer boy to bring up the rear. Rather than arguing, Michael just agrees.

On the outside, Lincoln steals a bus and crashes it into pole with a transformer on it, which brings down the power. We've now got 30 seconds to escape. With six people. And once the lights go out, Michael says something like, "Okay. Lincoln brought down the lights. We've got 30 seconds. Let's go." Wasting precious time. They should all have been hauling ass by now. Maybe Michael knows something I don't. He usually does.
