High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 4X7: The Night of Nights

I'm so fucking pissed off at Gina's mom. Why? You know you're starting trouble. You're a grown ass adult. Even if you felt it was your place to tell Ricky, there is zero reason to do it like a bitch.

So, it's opening night and Gina and Ricky are trying to talk to each other, but they run out of time. He's ready to tell her that he loves her, and she needs to tell him about getting the part in Quinn's new movie (which means she'll be in New Zealand for six months). They make a plan to meet in the dressing room at intermission so they can talk.

Meanwhile, the show is going fine on stage, but backstage, Maddox is freaking out because she thinks Ashlyn and Red are back together. (The French kid showed up and Red is seemingly just posing has her boyfriend so he'll leave her alone). During this, she manages to bread the sound/light board. Mr. Mazzara claims he can work it manually during the second act, but someone will need to play his part. (He's being the coach, as we still don't have enough people apparently). I assume it'll be E.J. to the rescue.

Kourtney has gotten into both Lewis and Princeton and basically had to decide tonight where she's going. And she really has no idea. I really have no idea what she's gonna do. I can't even feel myself leaning in one direction.

Finally, at intermission, Ricky heads over to meet up with Gina, but she gets pulled away to go do a sound check (or something) with the press conference. So, when Ricky gets backstage, Gina isn't there. But her mom is. And she tells Ricky that Gina's not coming. And she's leaving him to go make the movie and she'll be gone for a really long time. But it's the way she says it. All bitchy and condescending. She's acting like she'd rather Gina be dating Mack than Ricky, just because he's 'famous.' Dude. Stay out of it. It would be one thing if Ricky was bad for her or abusive or something. Let your daughter make her own choices. I hate this for both of them.

Oh, and Jenn has got an offer to be in Wicked. She hasn't made any decisions yet.
