Hart of Dixie 1X14: Aliens & Aliases

Okay, so, if we could just get Lemon drunk every episode, she'd be so much more likable!

I feel so bad for Zoe in this episode. Lavon asks her to help him figure out why Didi has been avoiding him after they slept together. When she shows up at George's office, Didi shows her the picture of Lemon she found under his desk. And she doesn't know what to do since George is her boss (and she likes. him), so should she tell him the truth?

Zoe asks her to keep quiet while she heads over to talk to Lavon. He assures Zoe that he and Lemon are over. And he'll tell her the truth about everything, but in the mean time, can she please cover for him with Didi. Zoe is very reluctantly to do so, but agrees.

When she runs into Didi later, she tells her that the picture actually belongs to her and not Lavon. She's been using it to study Lemon so she could learn to become the perfect Southern Belle. And Didi buys this. Well sort of, really she just thinks that Zoe is a lesbian who thinks BB is pretty, I think. However, shortly after this, George comes by the table and Zoe runs away so she doesn't have to lie to him.

Her plan is basically to avoid him until she can talk to Lavon, but he ends up needing her medical expertise, so they keep getting thrown together. And she feels so bad and guilty about what she knows that she finally calls him to tell him the truth, but ends up with his voicemail.

Right after that, Lavon comes over and tells Zoe the truth. He and Lemon had a beautiful 6 weeks together a little over a year ago when George was in New York. He was in love with her and thought that she felt the same. But, then George came back unexpectedly early and Lavon thought Lemon was going to leave George for him, but instead, George proposed and BB said yes. She broke his heart. And he's still not over her. He tells Zoe that he knows he put her in a shitty situation and he totally understands if she needs to tell George the truth.

But, when George calls her back, she ends up changing her mind and telling him about his patient instead. I don't know if this is going to be something that we have to keep from George forever. And if so, it seems like a difficult situation. Especially since Zoe and George have some chemistry, and she got to watch him be tortured by Lemon all the damn time.

While all this is going on, George has told Lemon to relax and have fun for the day, but she has no idea how to do that. She ends up at the bar in the afternoon, and Wade has her dress up like Joelle and head to a bar out of town to help him out with something. She does. And she gets really drunk and has the best time. She drinks and dances, and later when George picks her up, they go skinny dipping. If only we could see this Lemon all the time. I quite enjoyed her in the this episode.
