Arrow 8X6: Reset

Okay so I loved this episode. But I've LOVED S8 so I'm sure you guys are tired of me saying that. But, I've already watched 8X7 so get ready to hear it some more. (That's a subtle way of telling you that this description might be mixed up with the following episode 🤣).

So Oliver and Laurel both get stuck in a time loop. In which Oliver thinks, they need to save Quintin (oh yeah, he's alive now) from getting killed adn maybe also keep a bomb from going off.

Each iteration of the time loop has them learning more and more which means they get further along. It's super helpful that each time Quintin is 100% on board with the time lopp business. Oliver tells him it's so and he just goes with it, pretty much immediately every time. Thank you for making our lives easier.

Eventually, they realize that the Monitor has dropped them into this time loop, but they can't exactly figure out why. At one point, Quintin gets shot and Laurel decides she can't watch him die anymore. She tells him the goodbye she always wanted to say, and he responds in kind. When he dies, she feels at peace with it and is let out of the time loop.

However, Oliver is not so lucky. He wakes up, yet again, trying to save him. But, this time, Lyla shows up telling him he's got to give in to the inevitable. That's not really in Oliver's nature though. So when they are yet again at the point where Quintin is gonna die, he tells him he's not giving up and will save him. Quintin tells him he's got to let it go. He's been feeling like he cheated death all along and was living on borrowed time, so he's at peace with this. He walks out to let himself get killed and Oliver says goodbye.

He wakes up with Laurel in a tent. She's confused and Oliver tells her she was rewarded for not betraying him by getting what she wanted- a proper goodbye to her 'father.' Lyla, relaying the Monitor's message tells them they've got one more mission before the Crisis starts.

They walk out of the tent and are confronted by Mia, William, and Connor. When Mia (I think) asks where they are, Oliver informs them they are on Lian Yu. This really is a blast from the past season, isn't it?
