Hello, hello. Happy Saturday.
You guys. Newark airport sucks right now. And we got off lucky. Our flight was delayed 4 hours and then we sat on the tarmac for almost an hour before we took off. But, since a ton of flights got cancelled, I guess we did okay? Either way, we had a lovely time. Our friends are amazing and we missed them. I wish we could figure out how to get there more often. Sigh. Oh, and I chatted with one of our friends about Arrow (she's a big fan). She tried to convince me that Oliver is the hottest person on this show. Wrong. It's John Diggle. Just so we're all aware.
I ended up watching Jury Duty on the plane. It wasn't even in the running. I have no idea how I ended up watching it, but I'm so glad I did. It was weird and off beat and dry in it's humor. I think Dan is gonna watch it, so I'll be able to watch it again with him.
So, this week we start S3 of The Fosters. And I think that's about it for new stuff and stuff that's ending. We're getting close to some things, but nothing else concrete right now.
I've been trying to figure out how to fit in The Originals. It's 100% getting done. I'm just not sure how it's going to work in my schedule. But I know how it will work in yours. Currently, The Vampire Diaries posts Tuesdays and Thursdays (for Book Stack) and Tuesdays (for Novel). The Originals will post immediately following the episode of The Vampire Diaries for that week. For example, The Vampire Diaries 5X1 will post May 22. The Originals 1X1 will post directly after it on May 22. Then, it's The Originals 1X2 on May 27 followed by The Vampire Diaries 5X2 directly after on May 27. (I imagine this will mostly be back and forth, but for the first episodes, not so much. Hopefully, I'm doing this correctly. Please let me know if I'm not).
I'm using this guide https://www.quora.com/In-what-order-should-you-watch-The-Vampire-Diaries-and-The-Originals-by-episode/answer/Shivam-Upadhyay-466 to follow. I'm planning to watch 4 episodes of these shows a week. So, they might be two of one, followed by two of the other, but you'll get four episodes between the two shows per week (following the aforementioned guide).
In other news, I've got about a dozen MeetUp options sitting at the bottom of my screen. I've got to try to do some networking to make some more money. But I loathe talking to people. And even more, trying to sell myself. It just feel wrong and dirty. So I've got all this things that I hope stuff might just come up organically. Ugh. I hate it.
I've read several things since I last talked about books. I don't think any of them, minus First Lie Wins, are anything to write home about. And that one mostly makes the list because I was completely unsure about how I felt about every character until it basically ended. However, I am so excited that the third book in the They Both Die at the End series is finally out. (I think it came out yesterday). I'm ordering it tomorrow, so hopefully, I'll be able to read it next week.
I think that's it for now. Have a delightful weekend my loves!
